Try this visualization out to demonstrate to yourself how your subconscious drives the bus of your states and therefor your experiences in your golf game. Imagine you’re on the tee, water all the way down the right side of the fairway. Bunkers on the left about 240 – 270 off the tee. Good so far? Ok, now imagine you can’t see your landing area and the fairway is a unique island fairway.
Seriously, take a few seconds and step into this experience in your mind’s eye. What’s happening inside?
Now here’s the 2nd situation. You’re standing on the tee on a nice sunny day, slight breeze off your left that soothes the skin. Fairway is wide with not much concern other than a bunker way out there on the right side of the fairway. You’re on an elevated tee box looking down to an inviting landing area.
